/ Scheduled Maintenance

Mercedes-Benz Service

Just like any vehicle manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has a service schedule they recommend you follow to help properly maintain your vehicle’s function and lifespan. The timing and services needed, however, can vary slightly depending on factors such as the climate you live in, the model of your vehicle, and the mileage. The best way to keep expensive or strenuous repairs to minimum is to properly maintain your vehicle as best you can through routine services and responsible driving habits.

A

Service A

Vehicles manufactured after 2009, specifically, will need this service after the vehicle’s first year, or every 10,000 miles on the road. After that, your Mercedes-Benz will need serviced roughly every 2 years, or 20,000 miles. Service A typically includes things like replacing the oil filter, changing the oil, and checking the fluids and tire inflation.

B

Service B

Service B typically happens one year after the first service, or 20,000 miles. Although it has overlapping items from Service A, Service B is considered a ‘major’ service however. This is, in part, because it typically includes more thorough services than Service A. This can include items like replacing the cabin dust and combination filters.
