Going forward, you’ll want to continue alternating between your 5,000-mile and 10,000-mile service. MINI also recommends that you check all the following components or fluids after service to make sure they’ve been completely replaced or flushed when indicated that the service has been performed.
- Brake fluid flush and replacement – every 30,000 miles
- Fuel filter replacement – every 40,000 miles
- Coolant flush and replacement – every 40,000 miles
- Transmission fluid flush and replacement – every 50,000 miles
- Drive belt replacement – every 60,000 miles
- Oxygen sensor replacement – every 100,000 miles
- Battery Replacement – Every four to five years
- Tire replacement – Every four to five years, or whenever recommended
